Cashew Nuts value chain in Timor-Leste •Brief overview of the global market for Cashew Nuts (main producers, trends in production and consumption) and possible positioning of Timor-Leste within it. •Situation analysis, Cashew Nuts value chain in Timor-Leste. 2. Roadmap for Cashew Nuts Value Chain inTimor-Leste - Industrial development roadmap; (i)Building basic production capacity to serve the local market, (ii) Scaling-up production and processing capacity, (iii) Transitioning to capital intensive industrial model following an import-substitution strategy, (iv) Consolidating a modern and export-oriented industry
